Mr Will Sarakbi is a highly respected consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon. He specialises in both aesthetic and cancer breast surgery. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of aesthetic breast surgery and has performed over 1,000 breast augmentations and 600 breast reductions. His private practice is based at Shirley Oaks Hospital and the prestigious Cadogan clinic in Chelsea.

Mr Sarakbi qualified from St George’s, The University of London in 2001. After completing his basic surgical training in the South East of England, he spent some time in full-time research focusing on breast cancer biology and examining the role of molecular markers, such STS and OATP as prognostic indicators in breast cancer. He was awarded a masters degree in surgery from the University of London shortly after completing this research.

Impressively, Mr Sarakbi's research work has generated over 22 papers in peer-reviewed journals to date, and he has presented his findings in national and international conferences in the UK, Europe, and the USA. Mr Sarakbi continued his higher surgical training in the London Deanery, spending almost two years at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital. He was elected to the post of president of the National Breast Trainees Association (The Mammary Fold) in 2010, and subsequently to the post of president of the Surgical Oncology Trainees Association (SOTA) two years later.

Mr Sarakbi was notably selected for the prestigious national Aesthetic and Reconstructive Fellowship, which provided him with world-class training in both cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He also spent time training in France at the Leon-Bérard Centre in Lyon, working with internationally renowned reconstructive surgeons, where he mastered advanced techniques in breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast surgery, including lipomodelling (fat transfer).

He mainly specialises in breast enlargement, breast implant replacement, breast lift, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, and nipple reduction. Mr Sarakbi is a present member of the Intensity-Modulated Partial Organ Radiotherapy Trial (IMPORT) trial management group, one of the largest currently running radiotherapy trials in the UK funded by Cancer Research UK, investigating new techniques of delivering radiotherapy in breast cancer.

Mr Srinivasan Subramaniam is a respected Nottingham based consultant Eye Surgeon who has over 20 years of experience. He practices privately at The Park Hospital and The Spire Hospital in Nottingham. He is particularly interested in reducing or eliminating dependence on glasses following cataract surgery (refractive cataract surgery). In recognition of this he held the role of honorary visiting senior lecturer in the School of Life & Health Sciences at Aston University for 12 years. He has published extensively and has conducted courses in premium lens usage following cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange at International meetings and conferences.

Mr Subramaniam is an examiner for several Royal Colleges. He was in the first cohort of doctors who took and passed the assessment of Competence in Laser refractive Surgery, conducted by The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He is the only surgeon in The East Midlands with this further professional qualification from The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He is an assessor for The Royal College of Ophthalmologists for competence of other surgeons in refractive surgery.

A trainer of junior doctors, he has been a member of the Microsurgical Training Faculty of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for over 15 years. He has been the lead for cataract surgery at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust for several years and advises and helps colleagues on many complex issues regarding cataract surgery.

Professor Robert MacLaren is a consultant ophthalmologist at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital, as well as at the renowned Oxford Eye Hospital. He also holds the position of Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Oxford in the UK. He specialises in cataract surgery, retinal surgery, retinal diseases and genetic eye disorders.

In relation to his roles in the NHS, he trains ophthalmologists in retinal surgery and cataract surgery. His previous research has optimised biometric calculations for cataract surgery in extremely long and short eyes. He is experienced in the implantation of all varieties of intraocular lenses used in cataract surgery.  These include toric lenses, extended depth of focus lenses, multifocal lenses and in rare cases black diaphragm lenses. Internationally he trains surgeons in retinal gene therapy surgery and he has led many operations in the USA and across Europe.
 
In addition to his roles at Oxford, he holds the position of Honorary Professor of Ophthalmology at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and served as an honorary consultant vitreoretinal surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital. With a reputation for excellence and dedication to advancing the field of ophthalmology, he has been recognised as an NIHR Senior Investigator and NHS Gold Clinical Excellence Award. Professor MacLaren's contributions to the medical community are commendable, and his numerous fellowships are a testament to his expertise and commitment to the profession.
 
Professor MacLaren is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and he is one of only a handful of UK ophthalmologists also to be a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.Furthermore, he served as the former King James IV Professor of Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His academic achievements have been recognised through his election as a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, as well as being appointed as a Bodley Fellow of Merton College Oxford.

He is one of the first surgeons in the world to have made a successful retinal implant for visual prosthesis, sometimes described as creating: a 'bionic eye'. In 2016 he performed the world’s first eye operation using a remotely controlled robot. Key events of his work include world's first choroideremia gene therapy trial (2011), electronic retinal implant trials (2012/2015), robot-assisted eye surgery trial (2016), X-linked retinitis pigmentosa gene therapy trial (2017) and the world’s first gene therapy treatment for targeting the mechanism of age related macular degeneration (2019).
 
In the realm of clinical excellence, Professor MacLaren has been recognised with various prestigious awards. Notably, he has received the ARVO Camras Award for translational research, the RP Fighting Blindness Scientist of the Year award, the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Keeler Medal, and the Macular Society Clinical Service of the Year award. Mr Howard Davies is a highly respected consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Sheffield. He is renowned for his expertise in foot and ankle surgery, including ankle replacement surgery, sports injuries, arthritis and painful feet.

Mr Davies qualified in medicine from the University of Manchester in 1999 before undertaking further surgical training in the northwest of England. Following this, he developed an interest in orthopaedic surgery and went on to complete his higher surgical training in Leeds and Cambridge. He was also awarded a Master’s in orthopaedic engineering from Cardiff University. In 2010, Mr Davies relocated to Sheffield to undertake a twelve-month fellowship specialising in adult foot and ankle surgery. He was then appointed as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in the northwest of England before returning to take up a post at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, which has been his NHS base since 2013. He sees private patients at the revered Spire Claremont Hospital practising with Sheffield Orthopaedics Ltd, a highly esteemed centre for excellence in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine.

Mr Davies has published numerous academic articles which appear in peer reviewed journals. He remains active in research with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He was also appointed as an education committee member with the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) in 2018 and holds various teaching responsibilities. Mr Davies has twice won the Roger Mann award for best clinical paper by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS). In 2022, he was also awarded the Chan Cheng prize by BOFAS for research into total ankle replacement as part of the Infinity Study Group. Mr Davies is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Professor Kennedy trained at University College Dublin. Upon completion of his initial medical training, he undertook post-graduate training in London and was subsequently appointed as a senior lecturer at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2009.

Professor Kennedy  has a special interest in the management of liver disease in young people, working closely with premiership football clubs and managing liver disease in professional sports people and elite athletes from the UK and abroad.
 
He has produced novel work redefining disease phase in chronic hepatitis B (CHB). The main focus of his curent research work is around broadening treatment candidacy and the development of individualised treatment strategies for viral liver disease. He is widely published in the field of hepatology, with over 200 publications and 90 peer-reviewed articles, in addition to multiple book chapters, he has also edited a textbook of hepato-gastroenterology.
 
Additionally, Professor Kennedy is an expert advisor for the WHO and is part of the HBV clinical guideline development group. He is also a member of the European Association for the study of the liver (EASL) HBV clinical practice guidelines and has served as a member for NICE on the viral hepatitis clinical guideline committee.
 
Furthermore, Professor Kennedy provides expert opinion for the United Kingdom Advisory Panel (UKAP) on blood-borne viruses and is the current chair of the British Viral Hepatitis Group and former Lead for the British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL) HBV special interest group. He works closely with industry and provides expert opinion on drug development programmes.
 
He is the principal Investigator for a number of investigator-led and commercial phase 1, 2 and 3, clinical trials of novel therapies in viral liver disease. At present, he leads studies on the development of novel therapies in HBV and hepatitis delta virus (HDV). In addition, he is passionate about patient education and ensuring patients play a central role in their own management. Professor Kennedy has developed HBV&Me, a management app, and a current area of his research is expanding the utility of patient management tools to improve care.
